  Administration:

When a module is first added to a tab, the user is prompted to edit the module Settings which builds the XML configuration file.  Both the configuration and data files are created in the portal root with a naming convention gallerySL_[ModuleID]_config.xml  and gallerySL_[ModuleID]_data.xml  These files can be edited manually to use advanced Slide.Show options.  Currently only galler height, width, and background color can be edited via settings.

Three NEW data options exist for populating albums and slides:  Flickr & PIcasa data feeds, and Auto Load from folders.  The data feeds only require a username for the feed (public feeds only).  For the  “Auto Load from folders“ option, slides are placed in album folders, and the album folders are place in a single folder.  That top level folder is specified in the settings and the images, titles & descriptions are automatically created.

The module provides two action items to manually edit either albums or slides

In edit albums, you can control the initial display album and default transition.  Allbums are edited in the Albums datagrid and contain properties for Title, Description, Transition, and the album image.  In edit mode, the user clicks on the album image to select an image stored in the portal.

In edit slide, you first select an album.  Slides are then edited in the Slides datagrid and contain properties for Title, Description, image, and thumbnail.  In edit mode, the user clicks on the slide or thumbnail image to select an image stored in the portal.

The image picker opens a modal window with a dropdown to select the portal folder images are stored in and then allows the user to click on an image to setect it.
